  • Technical assistance for the online registration process is available via a link at the bottom of each page of the registration form. For other Scientific Sessions (SS17) questions, please email sessionsmedia@heart.org.

  • Due to space and budget limitations, we cannot guarantee working space in the newsroom to media who are not registered by Oct. 31 or to those who register onsite. The deadline for advanced registration is Oct. 31 at 5pm CT. 

  • Onsite registration begins at 8 a.m. CT, on Saturday Nov. 11.

Media may register for access to the AHA/ASA password protected newsroom (PPN) via this link. Scroll and select Option 1. Once access is approved, or if you already have access to the PPN, your log in credentials will allow you to access to the specific SS17 password protected newsroom when that link is provided about two weeks prior to Sessions in November.


31 Late-breaking science abstracts have been announced for the American Heart Association’s Scientific Sessions 2017.

Sessions include:

  • Coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG)
  • Prevention
  • Hypertension Management
  • Innovative Therapies and Novel Applications
